About Idenna
Idenna is a vibrant creative agency based at Indian Queens in the middle of Cornwall. Right now, most of us are working primarily from our homes around the county – so if you wanted to do the same, that would be absolutely fine with us (we just miss the office bants and dogs!).
We started off as a photography partnership in the 90s, and over the years we’ve grown to become a team of 15 talented creatives across film and photography, graphic and web design, and copywriting and social media. Our mission is to tell compelling stories in the right way to the right people, using a collaborative and integrated approach across mixed media.
We work on a huge spectrum of projects for a wide range of clients – from yummy food and drink photography to inspirational content for education providers, and from covering big night out entertainment for our hospitality clients to record-breaking national charity campaigns and TV advertisements. You can check out some of our most recent work here.
Working with us is the good kind of challenging, and the best kind of rewarding. Our culture is friendly and supportive, with the optimum mix of laid-back and go-getting. We’re particularly proud of our team – we make a point of ensuring that we have awesome people achieving their potential, doing what they love, where they love.
We’re all very different characters, and we have 7 core values that inform our decision making and attitude as a business – open, honest, fair, professional, unconventional, fun and courageous. Keeping these in mind helps us to create a thriving, rewarding environment for the team and our clients.
So – experience doesn’t get more real-world than this. Working with us is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in this industry, within a creative and supportive environment, and a fab team backing you every step of the way. You will be well supported and looked after by your department, and we’ll be committed to helping you with:
- support to look for long-term work
- support with CV and interview preparation
- training to develop your skills, such as team work, organisation and communications as part of the role.
You won’t be pretending to work or just making up the numbers – you’ll be an important part of the team, gaining real experience and making real contributions to projects across the board.
About The Roles
Junior Digital Marketer
As a Junior Marketer, you will get involved in creating, running, analysing and reporting on marketing campaigns involving social media, email marketing, creating landing pages and writing blog posts.
Social Media Creative
You will work with the Social Media & Copywriting team to generate stand-alone copy, or text to complement visual concepts for posting across social media platforms.
Junior Artworker
You will support the Graphic Design team in the artworking of a range of digital and print collateral including brochures, advertisements, websites, presentations and social media graphics.
Researcher
Our Researcher will be tasked with collecting and analysing the data that will inform our business development strategy and creative decision-making process. You will collect data through quantitative research (questioning large numbers of people by telephone and online surveys, plus interviews in person), qualitative research (using focus groups and in-depth interviews to gather information) and desktop research (market research and competitor analysis). You will also collate your findings and present them to the creative teams.
Production Assistant
You will support the Film & Photography team with organising, co-ordinating and managing shoots, as well as offering support on location and communicating with on-screen talent.
About The Opportunity
We are offering the above five roles as 6 month job placements for young people (age 16-24), 25 hours a week paying National Minimum Wage, who are currently on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.
You do need to be on Universal Credit so if you’re not, click here to find out if you’re eligible.
