Bodmin College Sixth Form Branding
Bodmin College briefed Idenna to create a brand that separated their Sixth Form from the lower school and reflected not only the high standard of education that they deliver, but the personal support they provide for their students. More than anything, the new brand and vision had to reflect the ambitions, talents and, most importantly, individuality of their students.
We started from scratch, designing a strategy and new logo that employed the Bodmin B as an inspirational tool that could be teamed with interchangeable messages – B Inspired, B Successful, B anything you want to be. We then set to work on creating modern prospectus that allowed students to ‘build their future’ using insertable course cards each with a strong and straightforward message, adding a die-cut ‘B’ on the front cover to further personalise it. We complemented this with a new website, and banners and flags.
The design and strategy allowed them to stand out amongst a sea of cookie cutter education providers and provided students with a contemporary Sixth Form identity that they could connect with.
Utilising this brand we supply the sixth form with ongoing support for a broad cross section of their communications from day to day print and digital materials to large format branding for events and ambient advertising. We work on a retained basis with the Sixth Form and will regularly brief and debrief design projects on a monthly basis, our team of designers are happy to adapt this successful brand according to the priorities of our client.
